Stonewell 2012 was matured in French oak hogsheads adding structure and complexity to the wine. It exhibits aromas of dark briary fruit, chocolate and liquorice over notes of charry oak. A richly structured palate, layered with ripe and brooding dark fruit is supported by firm fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and beautifully balanced.
