Established in 1976, Vina Luis Felipe Edwards is undeniably one of Chile's most progressive wineries; always keen to invest in new vineyards, the very latest technology and in its people, this Colchagua Valley-based operation sits nestled in a secluded horseshoe-shaped valley, separated from the majestic snow-capped Andes by the smaller San Fernando ridge. The vineyards are cultivated with environment friendly approach, and most of the grapes are handpicked.
(Rosa Blanca) is a single-vineyard, planted in the highly-reputed Colchagua Valley, and is certified organic since 2002. One of the organic measures includes the integration of other plants around the vineyards, in order to encourage bio-diversity, including bushes of white roses (Rosa Blanca). This is a delicious wine that displays the full bodied and intense fruit notes of a typical Cabernet from the Colchagua Valley. Deeply red colored, it has a nice nose of red fruit and spicy elements such as pepper.
